    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Its very fascinating to understand human behavior. I also enjoyed learning about different theories, and learning about the different sleep cycles.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed this course. This was my longest and hardest course. I would say learning about behavior and understanding why we sometimes do the things we do was the highlight to this course. There was not one chapter that you don' t somehow enjoy. Discovering where psychology came from was also very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking this course during summer follow her outline from the syllabus. Pay attention to due dates. Its a lot to take in all at once. It's easy to get overwhelmed during the summer with this class because you have to cover so much. Pace yourself and use personal experiences to relate to the examples, this will help you to store the needed information in your long-term memory. Self test are also a key point to remember, this also helps you to retain the information. Her quizzes are wonderful tools to use when studying for your final. I would also say don't skip over the critical thinking they are important. Try to do the extra credit if you can.
