This class was tough.
Dr. Jones is a lively, wily lecturer whose passion for mathematics and this course in particular (it is, after all, his baby) are obvious. Provided you have at least a slight interest in higher mathematics, you will never be bored here.
The course is a solid introduction to multivariate calculus. You'll learn to work in higher-dimensional real spaces and how the techniques of calculus can be introduced into these spaces. Vectors, surfaces and manifolds, gradient, extrema of curves and surfaces, integration on manifolds.

Advice for students:
Read the textbook and work through all of the in-text practice questions by chapter. Exam questions are sometimes taken from these. And go to the weekly homework help sessions.
