Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Nichols is a very supportive and helpful. She is always available and answers any questions you might have. If you are going to major in Biology, this might be your first class you have to take, so ou might be nervous, but as long you study and engage in labs, biology will be the least of your concern.

    Course highlights:

For students, this class is all about memorization and understanding. We first had to know the molecular structure of some chemical elements, such as water, not only did you have to memorize how the structure looks like but also what it contains- H2O. We also had to memorize about 50 fossils and which era they were in. It sounds hard, but it is pretty pleasing and makes you feel like a scientist.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Biology contains a lot of work, many do not understand the work in one day so they have to read and practice the work about once a day. Once you understand the lesson, other lessons start to make sense too.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor makes the class, and topic fun and interesting given his little moments of sidetracking that are somehow still relevant to what he had previously said minutes prior. The content is interesting, challenging, at times, to remember, but nonetheless interesting, and complex.

    Course highlights:

A multitude of things are now in my head in regards to the content learned in this course (sometimes whether I want it to be or not); several things are just ingrained in my head that have been persistently, and repeatedly hitting my head. A lot about cells, and energy, and DNA/RNA/proteins, that's guaranteed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Review the material discussed in class after the class, and day, ends. To ensure a good, decent, if not great grade for each of the test, especially the final, a repeated viewing and reviewing of the material is extremely essential.
