Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Learning about cultural anthropology opened my mind to other cultures around the world. I think all college students should take this course!

    Course highlights:

Taking this course made me feel like I was looking at this earth as a whole, not just through my eyes. The information we learned opened my mind to other parts of the world's culture in a non-judgmental way, but in an cultural relativism way. That culture's traditions may be weird to us but everything we are doing is repulsive to them. At the end of the day we are doing what is right according to our own culture, not to a set moral standard. I also learned that race doesn't actually exist!! We are unique in our own way and we should accept each other as we are. The professor was also a highlight! She is a great and funny teacher.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study! This class isn't easy but not ridiculously hard. I went to almost every student instructor's tutoring sessions to review the material twice a week.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Chandler-Ezell is amazing! She was by far my favorite professor this semester. She truly does love what she teaches and extends that passion for anthropology to her students. She makes sure that you understand how it relates to your everyday life and you have many interesting class debates.

    Course highlights:

After taking this course I feel more culturally aware. This course really puts your way of life into perspective compared to the way other people live.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure you talk to the professor, making sure she knows at least your face because she isn't too good with names at first. She is more than willing to help you get the best grade possible in her class. Not to mention she loves questions, but be careful she will talk to you in depth about your questions.
