    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Calculus I is a interesting class because Math becomes somewhat more theoretical than factually based information. This class opened my eyes to why Math is more challenging than it initial was. Calculus is needed for people to understand the physics of the world.

    Course highlights:

A highlight for this course was that I finally saw all the math I was taught in high school come together for the first time. Another highlight was that my teacher is very passionate and continued to inspire me to become a better math student after struggling with computing limits. I learned that math is not as easy as I thought. Limits can be used in a variety of situations other than graphs. Also, a derivative can tell you a lot about a graph that was not initially given to you at the start of a math problem.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go over what you learned in Pre-Calculus, Algebra I and II, and Geometry. Also, Make time to study and go over information outside of class with your notes, assigned book, and homework.
