    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

After taking the first course with a different teacher, I was discouraged when it came to the second accounting course. However, Dr. Henderson made the class interesting and really had a passion for what she was teaching and I believe that I would have failed the class without her help and guidance.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the management side of accounting and what exactly managers have to do in order to keep the accounting straight in the books. You learn about different budgets, what makes up each budget, and how to create each separate piece of the budgets. Which is just good life information that everyone needs to know. You also learn about accounting in a factory setting and what accounting you must do weather you are the buyer or the seller of the product. It is a lot of work so do not put off studying for this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

ALWAYS bring your book to class! She is always pulling examples from the books to give you extra study time and she also assigns homework from the book. Study!
