    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I think it's a good idea for everyone to get some perspective about social problems, both on a local and a global scale. This class teaches different ways of looking at social problems, how they're defined, and how they are created.

    Course highlights:

I learned, more than anything else, that social problems are very complex. Their origins are convoluted, and the solutions are neither simple nor obvious. I feel like I have a much better understanding now of what causes social problems, and I feel better equipped to address some of them in my work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Much of the relevant material that was on the exams was presented in the PowerPoint slides for each chapter. You'll still want to read the text to do well in the class. There are only a few assignments, aside from participating in the online discussions. There's no reason not to pass this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Social Problems is an both informative and interesting , it gives you a chance to learn more about the society . This includes both recent and past changes in our society that believe it or not impacts us in some way.

    Course highlights:

The class discussions were my favorite , some of the debates were funny yet still stayed relevant to the topic. I learned about low-income families and what is classified as a low-income or needed base family . Which once you learn the answer will truly shock you .

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Best Tip would be to READ! I cant stress enough how important reading the textbook is , im not saying read the whole book but skim the chapters fro that weeks lesson and take a few notes ahead of time. It helps when the lecture is taught not to be behind or confused since you have an basic understanding already.
