Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor is extremely good, she makes sure that everything is explained very thorough and if someone does not understand make it easier for that person to comprehend.

    Course highlights:

I learned everything about the crime system, learned what causes crimes, their theories, the fathers of criminology and the knowledge they had. I also learned how to prevent crime and how the states have been trying to do that as well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the book and do all the work that there is required.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is pretty straight forward, most of the material comes from the lecture but if you miss anything you can look it up in the textbooks. The instructor has an accent that is difficult to understand sometimes but it's not horrible enough for you to get lost.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of about the different reason people will commit a crime. We argued both sides of the individual's that were an exception to the rule but still fall under the category of being more likely to become a criminal.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If your willing to come to class on time, take notes, and complete the simple homework assignments you'll do fine. She designs this class for you to succeed and also has an assistant teacher who help out and gives review sessions before every test.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for any students who are thinking of pursuing criminology as an advanced degree or if they are interested in the research of it. He's very good at explaining each topic and he's very flexible in case you need more help with a certain subject. I wouldn't recommend this course for students that are not serious and do not want to put effort in to learning in this class. It does require independent reading as well as writing essays.

    Course highlights:

Because of the course's required reading before class, once you go over it in class, it's a lot easier to remember and learn. The class also involves some writing on exams that helps you develop your writing skills. He also did quizzes at the beginning of every class that helped to reinforce what you have learned.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to read and study a lot. It also has writing involved on the exams. If you just study and do all your work properly, you'll do fine and pass all the exams and quizzes.
