Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

First of all, it is a required prerequisite if your major is nursing. However if it is not a required major, there is nothing as extraordinary, as the way human body is put together and how it functions. You will be marveled by the perfection of mother nature

    Course highlights:

As humans we look so imposing and strong, yet so fragile. I learned it does not take much to bring the human body or its normal functioning to a halt. I was amazed by each and everything I learned, from how the muscle contracts to the functioning of our nervous system, such perfection.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Spend at least 2 hours a day on this. Do not just go through your notes, make sure you understand. Answer as many questions as possible on each chapter, check even those questions online. But most especially, start giving your all, right from the beginning, there is nothing as reassuring, like starting off with good grades

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it is a great course to take overall and can be used mostly for any medical program.

    Course highlights:

The highlights to me is doing the dissections with the animals and really being able to see the Anatomy and physiology first hand and in 3D.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class is very tough! But as long as you study, study, and study some more, you can make it through these courses. Just like any other course you have to be prepared. Although I always found A&P one and two to be very difficult for myself. Flash card more than helped with this course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Letitia Simpson is the best Anatomy and Physiology professor that South plains College has to offer. Her test reviews are straight forward, she practically tells you exactly what is on the test in the review. Her lectures were never boring and I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a great, fun, and positive Anatomy and Physiology professor.

    Course highlights:

I learned how do differentiate different types of tissues, all of the skeletal, muscular, and nervous system. My favorite was definitely the tissues.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to passing this course is to study. Studying is a must. Pay attention in lectures and stay in lab for the whole time. You're going to need the lab time.
