    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Aside from being a required course for my major, calculus is the foundation for higher mathematics, and helps one to begin to decipher many formulas that one rotely memorized in earlier math and science courses.

    Course highlights:

A major highlight was learning about derivatives and integrals in order to see change and rate of change, and to calculate areas under a curve. Having a solid background in prior math courses is essential.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Having a solid background in prior math courses is essential. Use study groups and ask lots of questions.
