    Definitely recommend it! Amazing teacher, amazing class-very insightful

    Course highlights:

    Learning about policies is always boring, but this professor made this part fun in her unique way

    Besides being a requirement for those majoring in Social work, it's will be an eye opener to many policies around the profession of social work

    I recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning more about the social programs offered in the US.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about the complex social welfare system. it goes into detail about various different programs.

    Advice for students:

    Be prepared to learn. We all walk in with "knowledge" or myths about certain things, and those thoughts will change.
