    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was my first and one of my favorite professors at APU. He is very easy to talk to and understand in class. The coursework is understandable and fun to do. You learn a lot not only about the theological world around you but about your own theological views on things.

    Course highlights:

I loved doing the final project. It was your theological understanding on 1 of the many topics the professor chose. I learned a lot about how even though my views may differ from others or even the Bible, there is a way to find evidence behind it and put it in your reasoning and understanding.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Actually do the readings because the quizzes are directly out of that and as long as you don't wait last minute to do the work, it is a fascinating class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Considering this course is required for the majority of incoming students, you should know more about about a potential professor than the course itself. Dr. Moder is a man with passion, vigor, and strives to invest in his students during the short amount of time he has with them each week. He presents himself as stand-off-ish at first, but as time goes on he loosens up. He's not intimidating per se, he just knows his stuff.

    Course highlights:

Highlights definitely include the wide openness of the class itself. The way to class is structured allows for free form discussions, lectures, and presentations that all together form a cohesive whole and immersive entry level course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't stress about it. It's relatively say as far as work load is concerned, but make sure to take what you're learning to heart because it will help you later on down the road in your educational journey.
