    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice a ton and get voice lessons while taking this course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As a music major, one is required to take this course. Yes, it is extremely difficult and time consuming, however when completed, there is the greatest sense of accomplishment. All it takes is daily commitment and concentration.

    Course highlights:

Before this course, I knew nothing about sight singing and in its different forms. Now, I have a strong base in what I am doing and feel ready to move onto the next level.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to commit time form the start, the class is like a lab, it builds upon the previous lesson, so falling behind is easy if you are not on task.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the teacher really cares about the material presented, making the whole course very easy to understand. I would also recommend this course to people just wanting to learn the fundamentals on being a musician.

    Course highlights:

The highlights, I found were all the aspects of being a musician that I learned of in the class. I loved learning all sorts of new things about myself that I didn't think were there.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be open minded when coming to this course. The course requires you to be very "present" in the class. Stay focused and relax, the course gets more understandable once you take the time just to listen to the wise teachers and smart peers around you.
