Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Presentational Speaking is a general education course, and is required for everyone to take. My professor Dr. B was amazing, and really eased my worries about making speeches. Writing and practicing a speech was easier to do as the class went on, and Dr. B was always helpful.

    Course highlights:

There was a lot about speeches that I had not known before. Some key concepts that I will keep in mind for future classes is that you should put the audience first and your message second, and to keep your notes to a minimum to increase eye contact with the audience.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Review the material from the book before tests, it will definitely help. Also, read the speech guidelines carefully, and practice practice practice!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is incredibly boring and the professor does not help.

    Course highlights:

We did an introductory speech that was very fun and helped me learn how to introduce myself to my peers.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your speeches with anticipation. It is very nerve wrecking if you are not prepared.
