    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course and this professor because she is an adjunct professor and understand that handing out tedious work is not as learning efficient as less work but more critical thinking work. She does not assign lots of "busy work" because she understands that you have other classes on your plate and will not benefit from this type of homework. The class itself is very interesting and captivating as well as the professor, she teaches with a lot of real life examples rather than solely using the textbook's examples for clarity.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part was the end of the semester project, which she assigns instead of a written final. This project allows for the student to do research on a certain psychological topic of the student's choice and while doing the project the student is able to learn more things on this specific topic than being taught it in the time constraint of the class. I learned about lost of sleeping issues which are caused by outside circumstances and that helped me realize a disability I had been struggling with in my adult life, but was unaware.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In this class, showing up is key because the professor gives mainly her own examples and only uses the textbook as a supplement to her own lecture. Being there to take notes and listen to the professor in person is really all you need to be successful in this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class touched on a lot of interesting topics. If psychology is something your are interested in but do not want to fully commit then this wold be a good class to take.

    Course highlights:

I learned a little bit about a lot of things. Helped me guide what area of psychology I really want to focus my career in.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

make sure you stay on top of readings. Read the book and maybe even try to reread the chapters after the class. all the PowerPoint she puts together are also very helpful to staying on top of things.
