    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor, Dr. Cooper, is a very nice and charismatic man and makes the course enjoyable, even for the student not fond of chemistry. The course can be very difficult, but if you work hard, it can be worth your troubles as the course is worth 5 units thus helping your GPA by a lot!

    Course highlights:

My favorite highlights of this course were the jokes and stories of the professor, who was about 70 years old. It can really put things into perspective when you hear about how things used to be. I learned many useful things in chemistry applying to rates of reactions and voltaic cells, which are very important in the design of batteries.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest keeping up with your work and don't let it pile up. Start working on the lab reports as soon as possible and study for exams by doing the unassigned homework. You really have to earn your A in this class.
