Not too easy. Not too difficult.
The class was too long. It was two classes stretched across two different days. A lecture and a lab. The problem was the instructor would spend the entire lecture hall lecturing and never got to anything else so it would spill over into what was meant to be our lab this extending the class regularly well past the ending time and he wouldn't allow people to get any credit unless they turned in completed packets at the end of each class. So people who had worked all day would then spend five hours in a class meant to only be three. Sometimes not leaving until 11 at night instead of 9.
I did learn a lot about earth science and the formation of minerals, etc. It's a really interesting course but it needed to be better managed.

Advice for students:
I suggest researching how instructors teach on a website like ratemylrofessor before signing up for their course. He eventually dropped me when I couldn't keep staying the extended hours.
