    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class if you want to learn more about writing with a purpose.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you need to think outside the box and really think about your target audience. Every audience is different when trying to convey a message.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try your best when planning to write a story. Use important details when discussing your topic throughly.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was great to increase my writing capability. I learned to think more outside the box when writing instead of basic knowledge that I had growing up.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write more essays using different methods of writing. I also began to read more articles and short stories to further gain more knowledge when beginning to write an essay.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always have one or two people peer- read your essays before turning them in. Ask questions if you are unsure about a topic you want to write about.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I happen to like English it is one of my favorite subjects so navigating the course was not hard for me. I liked that there was a diverse group of students in the class

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the class was the essay writing portions. I love to write essays, however I didn't realize that I had so much more to learn. I gained a more thorough understanding of what it takes to write a proper essay. In fact I still have my textbooks from the course because they explain step by step how to write the essay.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would make sure that you have your textbooks prior to the beginning of the class, and make sure that you pay attention and take good notes during lectures. I know lectures can some times be boring to some students, but if you don't pay attention you will miss important information.
