    Discourse communities are so valuable to us. We don't even realize it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    It really is a great class. Especially with this instructor.

    Course highlights:

    The Writing Celebration! One the beginning of class we were told we had to research a subculture throughout the semester, and write and 10 page paper of it. The writing celebration was a meeting with everyone in the class and people come up to you and ask about what you learned studying your subculture. It was a really cool experience for me.

    Advice for students:

    Just make sure you turn in all of you assignments on time, and you will do well.

    Great Teacher. She was very helpful and played to the strengths of every individual students and helped strengthen their weaknesses

    Course highlights:

    A highlight of this course was studying different types of communication and what is or isnt considered communication. We focused on studying subcultures and discourse.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study the material and understand the topics brought up. Answers are expected to some pretty challenging questions.
