    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was interesting and pretty easy. The work load was a little on the heavy side, but it wasn't hard.

    Course highlights:

I actually gained a new perspective on deviance. Before the course the word "deviant" automatically triggered negative thoughts in my head. I walked away from this class with a whole new view on not only the term itself, but on the idea of deviance.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Discussions count, so make sure that you don't blow those off.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Deviant behavior was interesting to me. We learned about all kinds of labels and situations in society. Dr. VR is thorough and fair. The course was very informative.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is that the professor wrote the textbook used so she really knows the material. I learned many interesting facts about what IS and what is NOT considered deviant behavior.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure you're ready to read the book and participate in class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Loved this class! This is an awesome professor, and if it is a required class, it will probably be your most interesting one!

    Course highlights:

We are all unique individuals, yet some may be too unique for the societies norms in which the individual lives. If their behavior, appearance or thought patterns goes beyond their society's range of tolerance, they are considered deviant. Also, remember : All crime is deviance, but not all deviance is a crime! Deviance is always relative to the society's range of tolerance!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters. Add to the online or class discussions. Go to class. It's that simple!
