    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It lays down a basis for your degree in the case of Marine Science/Marine Biology majors. And even if you may not use this information in your field, it is useful to be able to apply the ability of learning processes and their effects in real life.

    Course highlights:

Learned how to analyze processes and cycles, along with their applications in the real world. (Outside of the world of science)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Use online resources to help yourself. Reading the textbook is helpful if you are used to this method of learning, however I found it really helpful to look at a diagram of the process occuring and learn to explain what is going on in each portion of it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it shows a great in sight into the life of marine animals and how the ocean plays a huge part in the survival of the human race.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is that you get to study abroad, which allows you to learn hands on and see things from first perspective. It also allows you to do a ship simulator so you will know what you're up against when you finally get on one.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course you will most definitely need to study at least four times out of the week to keep a steady grade average. You also need to take good notes and join a study group so you have people to help you out with topics that you don't quite understand.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because you get to learn a lot about how our bodies function all together and how one little thing can mean the difference.

    Course highlights:

Doing the experiments in Lab was definitely the highlights and I learned that there is more to Biology than just cells.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the slides over and over again. When you think you know it still study especially in lab.
