    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Weight is perhaps my favorite instructor, and I just don't ever want to disappoint him. He makes history entertaining, and appealing to learn.

    Course highlights:

The main concern since the first day were the IDs, basically identification of certain people and events by setting down 5 questions, who, why, when, sequence of events, and historical significance. He gives us around 30 IDs within a certain span period, and he only gives us 5 to choose from in the test, but only 1 will be allowed to be worked in during the test. Therefore, we have to learn every single ID, because we don't know which one he will choose, but even if the tests are difficult, there is a no way you can dislike Dr. Weight.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to take plenty of notes, and be willing to read 100 to 150 pages per week. As well as taking quizzes every Thursday, and major tests every 4 weeks. Also learn to use Chicago Manual Style, because there will be some writing assigned.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is great, he knows so much and will definitely make the class really fun.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about history, and it is definitely not one of my favorite subjects. The professor told stories and made it easier by doing that.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You definitely need to study to get a good grade in this class. The ID terms are extremely important to pass.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Hazelton is one of the best professors I have had thus far! He made such a boring topic of old revolutionary war history become extremely interesting!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was how helpful Dr. Hazelton was with studying for upcoming exams and quizzes. In addition, he genuinely cares for his students and makes sure that you have all you will need to excel in his class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay close attention to the lectures and take notes, it will most definitely go a long way!
