Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking this course with Dr. Byham! He's an excellent professor who's lectures are incredibly interesting. He uses TopHat which means that we are required to read the book and he really enjoys engaging with his students. He always throws in a joke or a two to keep his students listening and his grading is very reasonable.

    Course highlights:

I was able to learn more about our national government in this course than I ever did in high school. I really enjoyed when Dr. Byham would test our knowledge and help us review for a test by playing Kahoot! during class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the chapters assigned to you and do all the assignments. Listen to his lectures because they help out a lot and try not to miss his class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Yes , there is a lot of interaction and creativity to the class and a lot of engagement between Professor to the students .

    Course highlights:

Some highlights can be that , we were able to view the different government aspects from a variety of chairs meaning the districts we had. As well as always seeing ahead and to the sides of actions that can happen and need a solution .

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be prepared to work as an actual team and organize the ideas towards all the coming projects .

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this professor to anyone needing to take this course. The professor is from Bangladesh so she has an accent but you can understand what she is saying throughout the lectures. Her course is mostly based on lectures so make sure you take notes. I had a great time learning and I loved her lectures and assignments so for Spring semester I will be taking her American State government course.

    Course highlights:

Since it was so close to the presidential election the professor focused on the branches of government and how they could be impacted by the election since the government would have a republican majority. She went over the major wars wars such as wwi, wwii, and the Cold War.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take notes during lectures since what she talks about will be on the exams and assignments she gives. She doesn't give a lot of assignments but the ones she gives are always essays. She emphasizes alot so make sure you pay attention to what she is teaching.
