    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Most of the classes are discussion based, where no notes are necessary. But, it does require 4-5 presentations.

    Course highlights:

You get to practice giving presentations in front of others that are at your skill level.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Talk in class, even if it just with the teacher when they walk by. Participation weighs heavily on your grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the teacher is great and it is easy to follow. COMM 1311 has an excellent curriculum that is easily understandable. In the class we always had great discussions. As long as you pay attention and do your work then it is easy to pass the class with an A.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the discussions we had in class. The teacher and students loved to have actual conversations with each other about subject that came up. The students especially loved discussing how to get over filler words and fear of public speaking.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

All students need to succeed in this course is to show up, study, and do the homework. The homework was never too hard but the course does offer a lot of extra credit to make up for it. There is a lot of studying involved in this course because there is a lot of tests and quizzes but it also helps to pay attention. Lastly is to just show up because it counts for fifty points of the final grade.
