Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very helpful for nursing students and i preferred McReynolds a lot more because although he comes out a little intense, he is still a very approachable professor and really cares about his students and letting us understand the material. Everything on the exam comes straight from the notes and although it is a lot of notes, it is very interesting once you take the time to sit down and study the material.

    Course highlights:

You learn how to work microscope really good in lab and you learn a lot about the systems in the body. It doesn't go through all of them but from what you learn in this course, it will help you a lot in you nursing career or any other major that requires this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate to study. Do it little by little a day so you don't cram the last day. It will stress you out and you need to take the time to really understand the process of the material that is given to you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was challenging at times, but it taught me valuable lessons that I am going to apply in the coming years at Tarleton. I would definitely recommend this course to a friend, and I would take it again if I could.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the human body and its systems. It was interesting to learn that the human body is all connected. Systems are all linked together and it was really cool to learn.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you study and you go to the after hours sessions for this course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Mr. McReynolds is a great teacher that really knows his stuff! He has a teaching method that is easy for everyone to understand and follow. Also, he is very helpful if you need additional resources.

    Course highlights:

This course requires a lab as well as the lecture. I really liked this aspect. Although it is a lot of work, the lab really helps put everything you learn in the lecture, together. I liked that the lab and lecture information followed each other. I am more of a visual learner so the lab class helped me really learn the material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advise I would give students going into this course is to really keep up. Read the book ahead of time that way in class when the teacher is talking about something you already have an idea of what it is. During class; take notes, after class; review the notes. If there is ever a time that you don't understand something or are stuck, ask questions. Office hours are a great resource, use it!
