Pretty easy, overall.
Recommending a course that is needed is pointless but taking the course is no where near as bad when you communicate with the teacher and pay attention in class. Many students in the class failed because he or she was not getting the help they needed from the teacher. Go to the professors office hours and such to pass.
I learned how to long divide an equation by an equation which seemed to be hard just by looking at it but it's the same as dividing anything else. I also learned a few hints to recognize when there were or were not any slant asymptotes. Most of the class, though, was just a refresher considering I hadn't taken math in 2 years I still managed to make a B. An A was easily attainable but I had my own mental mistakes concentrating too hard, so relax on the tests.

Advice for students:
Relax on tests. That will make you less tense of the situation. Practice what is given to you. You only get out what you put in. GO TO OFFICE HOURS. You only hurt yourself especially when the professor doesn't even care if you come to class or not.
