    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a pretty tough class. More math intensive than i though it would be, so if you are good at algebra and memorizing equations you will be set. Dr. Bell is funny in a nerdy way, but he easily gets agitated when students are on their phones, talking when he is talking, and leaving class before he is done lecturing. Even his class is hard, I would recommend taking him because I felt extremely prepare for the departmental final.

    Course highlights:

Definitely learned more about chemistry than I would like to. Some of it can be pretty interesting if you are a science major. Lab is fun because I actually got to do stuff that could be relatively dangerous.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! Be engaged in class and answer Dr. Bell's questions, and ask him questions as well. Read the book. Know how to rearrange equations algebraically.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was a temporary sub that turned into a permanent sub. It was quite obvious Dr. Bell was unaccustomed to teaching this lower level chemistry.

    Course highlights:

The course involved a weekly lab that was ranged from relatively boring to moderately exciting.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Have a strong understanding of unit conversions.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I had a hard time understanding what was being taught. She would go over important things too fast and then was too repetitive on subjects everyone had been learning for years. It was hard keeping up.

    Course highlights:

I liked the labs, they were easy and fun. I learned about how to weigh different masses and how to make compounds.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend studying and reading the book. You must show up to class and do all the homework assigned.
