    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend doing it in high school because that's what I did, and it got me prepared for college.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write a really good essay, and how to write good in college. I also learned about poems, and I learned a lot of the poems we read now in college, in High School.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You need to learn how to write a good essay, then write good essays everytime you write.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recomend taking Comp 1 with Ms. Thornton because she is a great teacher and helps you understand what your essays need to be over.

    Course highlights:

I learned new ways to write essays and learned new things about our world in articles read for the essays.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Shes a strict grader so definitley go to the writing center to help review your paper. Always work on homework sooner than deadline and not last minute. Itll kick you in the butt at 2am the day the paper is due.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this professor for incoming freshman. She assigns a lot of homework and expects each essay to be flawless. Hard grader. Really tough on you, try taking someone else.

    Course highlights:

The only highlights of this course was what You get to write about. You get to write about your purpose, write about a community that interest your. It's much better than writing about technology or something dumb.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to make sure you set aside a lot of time to do homework. She'll give you homework every time. It's not hard homework it's just very time consuming. Make sure you check blackboard before going to class because sometimes she'll add homework and you won't know about it. She's very picky about the way she wants your essays done so when she shows you good examples of people's papers in the past take notes over what they did
