    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend Professor Mack's class because he is real and down to earth. He tells you how he thinks and asks you to form your own opinion of the subject. His class is fun and engaging and totally worth your time. You come when you come, you leave when you leave, he's going to "keep serving the pizza whether or not you are there." But you definitely want to be there!

    Course highlights:

I learned that common sense is common sense. People are people and will believe what is set in front of them unless you are one of those who challenge the status quo. Professor Mack wants you to challenge the status quo in your own way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes! He gives you a lot of the stuff (the green stuff) on your exams in the slides he uses in class. You can't access his slides online or outside of class. So be in class because he also gives knowledge you can't get via notes.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because its really fun and you learn about different cultures and sociological perspectives that you would most likely never considered.

    Course highlights:

I learned about how society views certain behavior and how some norms differ from different cultures. I learned that there are different levels of perception and how society has evolved over the course of time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This is a very fun course that you need to take because it helps you understand what the world thinks and why there are different ways of looking at certain situations. It gives you new perspective of looking at different things.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I think that she is very well read, but more importantly enthusiastic. I enjoyed the lectures and think that everyone can take some wisdom from a well taught sociology class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about empathy as a concept, and a lot of terminology about sociology. There were a lot of debates that lead to me making sure I was well read about what I was talking about, which led to me learning more and taking more from the class overall.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be a good communicator. The teacher is very nice, but sometimes oddly stubborn about policy. This means that sometimes you'll feel like she's being mean or shutting you down, but really shes just trying to be fair. First two days are harder than the rest. After that its easy street.
