Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it for business students or even those that simply want to understand money management. Accounting 1 covers taxes, banks, things you need to pay and set aside, and how to avoid bad financial decisions.

    Course highlights:

The professor I had for this course really helped me pass with an A. He gave thorough scenarios of what to do and what not to do regarding saving and spending money. Show up to class and participate in the in class discussion to answer any questions you may have, it really helps.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make friends in the class and participate in study groups

Mr Bell is an awesome teacher who makes learning easy! He teaches in a way that makes you want to be in class.

    Course highlights:

The fact that he does not require us to purchase a book, instead, he provides a workbook that helps make study time easier.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT MISS CLASS! You will pass as long as you show up and pay attention.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I began taking accounting as a dual credit course as a senior in high school. I felt rewarded to have the chance to get a head start on college.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course I was able to get a head start on my college credits. The course itself was absolutely full of information. The concepts you'll learn in accounting will not only help you to get through other relevant courses, but will teach you about important aspects of finances in everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, notes, and more notes. And if you can write fast enough, take down the entire lecture! Being a course about finances, it is important that you have all of the necessary information to get a problem resolved. You'll need to look over your notes post-lecture and pre-lecture. Make sure you take advantage of your resources as well.
