It is a lot of fun learning about the earth and nature. Most people think it just about rocks but there is a lot more to it than that.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make flash cards and draw pictures, that really helped me raise my test scores.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Black was so nice and had a great sense of humor. He gave substantial amounts of extra credit on each test (up to 15 points) and the worksheets helped you study for the test so it didn't seem like extra work.

    Course highlights:

The professor was extremely thorough and explained all the material in great detail. If you didn't understand he was right there to help. Very knowledgeable and personable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy the book, do the extra credit, ask questions if necessary.
