    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course should have been easier than it was. I would recommend the course, just choose a different professor. A couple of test had one person pass and that was low 70s. The course is a lot of reviewing from biology in high school. This class was also supposed to be for non-science majors but the professor treated it otherwise and expected us to know a lot coming into it.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights would have been the easy group project and the curve she was forced to give us.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it just choose a different professor.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this particular course at Tarrant County College because it was the course that sparked my interest in biology. My professor was wonderful in helping me fully understand the material, and giving me my own freedom to conduct my own experiment on the asexual and sexual reproduction of fungi. Majority of the work I did in this class was outside of class time so procrastinators beware!!!!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was defiantly being able to conduct my own experiment. At first I was very nervous because I had never done an experiment/ research paper I was going to be graded on before. After I got past my nerves and dove into it everything fell into place, and I have a tremendous amount of fun!!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Attend the study sessions provided to you, get with a group of people in your class and review the material at least twice a week, don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand something, talk to your professor if you are struggling don't just sit their be active!!!

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this teacher and class for those who are interested in going into the medical field because this is one of the basics that is required. Also this professor is great.

    Course highlights:

I've learned what I needed to prepare myself for more harder courses in the future.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just study the notes and make sure to pay attention in class.
