    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because I believe psychology is something every person should have general knowledge over. It is a course that teaches you about the human brain and why you act the way you do. I also loved this course and found myself hanging onto every last word my professor said. Jay Green is definatly one of the most influential professors or teachers Ive ever had. He always found a way to compare old information to current day events and was always made the class laugh. He made going to an 8 am lecture seem like the least of my problems, and I found myself excited to get to his class. He cuts the crap and lectures you for the entire period, but gives you an outline of his notes. If yo attend his class every day you will pass with an A. Your grade is really in your own hands.

    Course highlights:

I gained so much knowledge about the human brain and how we as human beings work and this was just the introduction to Psychology. The information presented in the class also shed light on how and why my friends and family act the way they do and it was interesting to see.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The only thing you need to do to ace this class is attend every single lecture. Jay does not require that you buy a text book. He provides outlines for his lecture in which you write down notes. He tells you exactly what to write and when and where to write it. So if you miss a day of class you miss half of an outline of notes and learning the material. Jay also allows you to bring a cheat sheet on tests, so if you come to class and take the notes he tells you to take you will ace the class. Guaranteed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher was wonderful. She went above and beyond to make sure you knew the material and could pass the class

    Course highlights:

Everything about it was great, learning the basics of how the mind works. I took this as a high school student as a dual credit course so it was a good way to ease myself into the college life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters. It may seem simple but believe me it's not, but it makes the world of a difference.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Take this class, the professor knows his material and makes sure you know it as well. His class did consist of reading the book because if you don't you will not pass his test. However, he will teach you how to study and he will tell yo specifically what he wants in order to pass his class with an A. He will not move on to a new subject unless you know it. The class overall is interesting and not boring. I highly recommend on taking this class.

    Course highlights:

There are many things that I have learned in this class. It was very interesting to the point where it pushed me to major in Psychology. A topic that I remember clearly was how the brain was able to retain information and what were the best strategies to study. It explained the worst and best ways to study and to make sure you remember the material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Follow the professors instructions and to read the book. Please do not wait to the last two nights to study for the exams. At least study one week before if not more and study with flashcards. Flashcards will be your friend as it was for me. When reading the book, don't read everything page per page but only the material that is given on the review.
