    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because you will need this course to transfer to a university and you will learn a lot from the professor.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the class is that if you take it in the summer the course is 4 times as has that in a regular semester class. The course is rigorous and it does require a lot of studying time for both lab and lecture.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters thoroughly and be able to understand at least 75% of the material because the exams have the same high-level language as the book. The other thing is to create a study group that is serious about passing the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Worst lab instructor. He belittled the students.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about pigeons than I ever care to know.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Find a different lab instructor.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took this as a once a week class that met on Saturdays, which was difficult for me, personally. Paying attention to a week's worth of lecture in one sitting of three hours requires a lot more focus than twice or three time a week classes.

    Course highlights:

I really did feel like I learned biology well enough to continue on to a science heavy major.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying is a must. At least three days a week.
