Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is all online and you post your presentations to YouTube or Vimeo and grade each other. Dr. Sullivan provides you with honest and helpful feedback and is always willing to answer questions or concerns. She is very understanding when it comes to late assignments and tech problems if you tell her about the issue. However, she does grade kind of slow because she has multiple classes and will only reply to emails from your tccd email hat has our course number and extension included in the subject line.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot from this course. I gained a lot of confidence with public speaking and the techniques and other elements of presenting and speaking - both publicly and personally. I learned that we have different types of communicating and that everyone is different.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get the book! Definitely get the book if you want an A or B. Also, participation is key. She only uses discussion boards, two presentations - one informative and one persuasive speech, and a final over everything we discussed. The boards and final require the book for sure. Also ask her anything you don't understand or need help with.
