Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is an amazing class and professor Braggs is an amazing instructor. I am a biology major but have always loved learning about the human mind and why we do the things we do. If you love science, you will deeply enjoy this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course is the chapters on family systems. It relates so much to our own households and what we do on the daily basis.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not be afraid of her grading style. Her quizzes are not hard at all if you study the book, her power points do not include everything you are tested on.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Johnson was able to take difficult conversations and make them lessons. Death & Dying or divorce are things our culture likes to stigmatize and say are bad or don't talk about them, she does. She addresses them like real issues, because they are, how are we supposed to be comforting our grandparents when they are dying if no one ever talks about death? It is time to talk about everything. And by taking this class it is part of the solution to the social problems this country and this world faces each day.

    Course highlights:

She likes to introduce topics through TED talks videos and they are all good. There are no questions on the tests over the videos, but the videos really help to add other opinions into the topics.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class everyday, take notes on the powerpoints, you will get a B without reading the chapters but I highly recommend reading the chapters you need more emphasis on, and participate in class. She does a lot of class discussions and values your opinions.
