    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very lecture heavy, lots of reading 50-200pages a night, don't learn much

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were being able to attend the writing lab at Tarrant County College to receive extra credit at the end of the course

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to listen to long lectures and reading assignments every nights with reading quizzes in class along with 1000 word weekly responses every week and a 6 page term paper at the end of the class

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was interesting class, lots of essays

    Course highlights:

Lots of things but you have to be involved and understand the readings

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

study and prepare for the essays.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course because it shows you a different writing style than what we see today. It's interesting to see what issues were mentioned throughout the passages . The language is different and it's challenging but well worth it.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to catch little hints in the readings and just readings in general. I learned about various English authors from the 1800s.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to take it seriously and pay attention. Also, I would advise them to thoroughly read through each assigned text and ask for help when not understanding something.
