Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Vu is a great teacher for this class. He makes it fun to be in class and encourages you every step of the way. He also knows how to teach in a way that makes the information seem more understandable. However, this is not the class that you can procrastinate in. The quizzes and homework and even the tests force you to be on top of your game at all times. But Dr Vu is very easy to talk to and he wants you to succeed so you can always ask him for help if you need it.

    Course highlights:

Anatomy and Physiology 1 teaches more anatomical information while Anatomy and Physiology 2 is more functional information. Probably the hardest part of A and P 1 was the memorization. Although it was the hardest it was also the most interesting. We had to learn every bone and its markings as well as every muscle and also the process of contracting and relaxing muscles. However, Dr Vu gave every resource possible to make the learning side of it simpler. All we had to do was the repetition part. That is the only way to memorize all the information. But it was also one of the best parts of the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Utilize your classmates and the resources given to you. This class can be very stressful. However, if you don't procrastinate and do the work, the curriculum will come easier to you. Repetition is key in the class. The homework is online and you can do it multiple times. So have study groups and do the work when it is first assigned. Practice makes perfect and it is the way to do well in this class. It is definitely possible to make an easy A, you just have to do the work.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Barton made this course very fun and exciting. He did not let the pile of terms we had to learn scare us, he simplified as much as he could while allowing us to grow as students.

    Course highlights:

The best part of the course was learning about different parts of your body and why they work the way they do. The lab was very entertaining and was also a great visual for the information you were learning in lecture.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You must apply yourself. If your professor tells you to read, then you read. If your professor gives you any study tips, listen to them. They are a tool in your toolbox and will help you succeed in the course.
