    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This professor was very informative. He was direct with his teaching. He would stay after and quiz us with diagrams. Additionally, the class was vey difficult and weeded out those who should not have been there. The class size was cut in half by the end of the semester.

    Course highlights:

This class taught me more than any other course I have taken. The content began in general aspects then became more specific. The course covered the nervous system, muscular system, and bones.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest paying specific attention to his side notes that are not on the PowerPoint. The content on each slide is just as important as memorizing the pictures.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved Anatomy and Phys 1 and can't wait for the second one!! It is a lot of work, but if you enjoy it-enjoy the hours pouring continuous knowledge into your mind.

    Course highlights:

My most difficult to overcome area was learning all the notches, grooves, depressions, etc all over our bones and where and how to identify them.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is a serious endeavor. I read the chapter before we started it in class, then was able to write extra notes she was giving that was not in the book or I missed in my reading and be able to ask questions. Also, as reading the chapter and going over it in lecture that day, I would start setting up a study guide so I am not killing myself preparing a study guide and studying. With Lab Labeling, if you are able to study with the models used in the tests, DO IT.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

First, this is a highly needed class for a lot of degrees and professions. While it was difficult, the professor was very straightforward and helpful. If I were asked to take it again, I would definitely choose this same class.

    Course highlights:

I actually took the 8 week version, so that in and of itself was a whole new challenge. However I did make it through, and with a few extra late night lab buddies on the way. I learned and retained so much more about the human body than I had expected I would.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate or rely on the bonuses he gives on certain exams. Just go into the test feeling confident and well rested, and don't be afraid to ask questions either in class or even during a test of you don't understand what is being asked.
