    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Amazing lecturer. You're not allowed to take notes so the TA's do it. No tests, a few essays.

    Course highlights:

    He loves history and has a great way of lecturing through stories that make you interested in the history.

    Advice for students:

    Listen in class - he's brilliant.

    Brands is an amazing professor and the class has easy weekly quizzes and a couple of essays. Would recommend! This is my favorite class

    Brands gives really interesting cool leactures

    Have your TA read your essay before you turn it in. They're super helpful

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    It's easy, you don't need to pay complete attention and lectures are enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

    Global contextual history as opposed to just facts and figures. Everything is explained with emphasis on why and how.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    Put in work for exams and it's no problem, the discussions help to contextualize the learnings and are useful for exams. Lectures are slow but very interesting.
