    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's pretty easy as a course, but you will learn most of the material at home/online. The class is mainly set up to make you think a little more, add quiz questions and some cool chem shows.

    Course highlights:

Nothing much, CH301 credit which is required for my major.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Use all your online resources, look up old test banks and use all their reviews online.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for people that are more concerned with actually learning about the subject than about getting a good grade in the class. Dr. Walker is great at tying the material learned in the class to real-world situations.

    Course highlights:

A highlight of this course was the thermodynamics unit. It tied all the units together and so when you studied for the thermo unit test (the last unit exam), it was like you were studying for the final as well. And another more broad highlight of this course was that it helped me improve my study habits and "learn how to learn".

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You should always do as well on the homeworks as you can and try to rack up as many points as possible because it makes your life much less stressful towards the end of the semester. That being said, do not kick yourself too hard when you do not do as well on an assignment or whatever--you will have many chances to redeem yourself throughout the semester as long as you try your best all throughout it. Also listen to Dr. Walker carefully, she'll sometimes give hints to questions and she'll also give important information throughout the lectures, but many students do not listen and, therefore, miss out on some valuable information.
