    Course Overview:

    If you want to start a degree in sociology, this is a great place to start.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about the sociological imagination, relationships within ethnicity and family, the effects of labeling, and police's negative effect against minorities.

    Have a plan. Going in blind is dangerous for success.

    The professor has a wealth of knowledge regarding an interesting subject, and his ability to pass on the knowledge to his students will leave you awake in your seat.

    Course highlights:

    Humans are fascinating creatures. The way we interact with each other in a society provides many insights, and those insights may be of use in the present and future.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read every page number assigned by the professor. You may even read further ahead if you are in a "study" mood. The topics you read will be on the exam.
