    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is a bunch of uslesss facts that barely even relate to dinosaurs. There are so many technical terms like synapomorphies. You have to remember the bones of the body and memorize long cladogramd. The class is purely memorization but half the stuff on the test I did not thing to study for. There is also a lab that basically makes this class two separate classes. The lab and lecture are completely separate. His class is so much more work than it's worth.

    Course highlights:

The only highlight is that our TA Charlie is great, but otherwise this class sucks.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this class. Wait and take Age of Mammals.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

A lot of memorization. Professor is very understanding that it is for non majors, though.

    Course highlights:

Starts with overview of different extinction theories. Then the rest of the semester is learning evolutionary relationships.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to memorize & make flash cards.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very difficult non major class! Lots of memorization and tests. Do not take.

    Course highlights:

Way too much about Dino skeletons and families and a random amount about mammals?

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorize and talk to the TA's. Seriously, if you don't understand something ask.
