    Course Overview:

    The material was extremely engaging and multifaceted.

    Course highlights:

    The focus on criminal justice reform and insights regarding systematic racial discrimination made this course relevant and relatable to a variety of students.

    Advice for students:

    If you do all the readings and attend all the lectures, and you can get an A. Only 3 essays!

    Course Overview:

    It's a course about the history of incarceration in the United States. However, the course keeps you updated on current news.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot about the criminal justice system in America and a lot about its racial disparity within.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Because the course centered around incarceration, we could study America through a provocative lens

    Course highlights:

    We learned a lot about the carceral system

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do the readings and extra credit and you should be fine. She gives you a lot of time to do it. And she gives you participation grades so come to class
