    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Probably one of the toughest courses I have ever taken, but hands down very rewarding. Dr. Lashinger does an incredible job of breaking down an incredibly complex subject into words everyone will understand.

    Course highlights:

Highlight is definitely having Dr. Lashinger as a professor, she's awesome!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I went to study hours three times a week, it definitely helped.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Lashinger explains and integrates nutrition with physiology and biochemistry extremely well. The class is tough, but you will learn the mechanisms of nutrition that affect the body.

    Course highlights:

You learn about digestion in more detail (molecular level); biochemistry of nutrition such as glycolysis, Krebs cycle, and ETC; learn about epidemiology in nutrition and research; chronic diseases in nutrition.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the material and make the effort to integrate previous material with others to get a detailed overview of how nutrition affects the body. Very great knowledge to know before health professional schools.
