    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Shabbir is a great professor and is very helpful whenever you need it. She tries to around student's schedules for her review sessions that cover all the concepts you need to know before any of her exams.

    Course highlights:

    It teaches you all the reactions from reactions with ketones to carboxylic acids. Most of this class is memorizing and understanding reactions. There is mechanisms she gives to you that you need to learn. Then a lot of synthesis problems in which she will give you all the necessary reactants to get to the product.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study as you go and don't try to procrastinate on studying because it is a lot of material. But she covers all the information during lecture so go to class. Then also make sure to go to her study sessions and office hours. She will help you with homework questions and exam questions during those review sessions.
