    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Schultz really wants her students to learn and succeed-- something I really liked about her.

    Course highlights:

The emphasis on explaining a topic to another person in the class was something different compared to other courses. I learned that working with one another in class to fully understand a concept was helpful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just follow her advice, participate in class, and work with one another to tackle difficult concepts.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to those who are willing to put time into reviewing and thoroughly learning the material. The work, while not much, may be difficult for those who do not have a solid foundation in mathematics.

    Course highlights:

A major highlight of this course was the professor's overall enthusiasm for the course material. The professor did very well in leading the class and not handing out answers to students, rather helping find the answer on their own.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always review the homework, even after completion. The review and lesson modules within the homework assignments should be given a look over at least twice. As with most classes, attendance is important, especially when you have questions that need answering. If there are things that you need netter explanations on, office hours are always an option

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was very instructive and provided a lot of help and practice questions over the material. He is a very good teacher that knows how to explain things and break them down complicated matters into simple pieces allowing for greater understanding. The homework can be pretty difficult though so its best you go to his office hours for aid.

    Course highlights:

The tests and quizzes were very easy if you studied and practiced questions on your own as well as did the homework. The TAs were also there to help if you had a question, and they clarified things pretty well in the classroom and during study sessions and discussions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Remember to do the homework and go to office hours if you are confused.
