Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is a great way for journalism majors to learn the fundamental skills of visual journalism. For nonmajors, it's a creative outlet that helps you to explore your interests using a new medium.

    Course highlights:

Dennis Darling is a seasoned photographer, and he draws on his experience for his lectures. TA instructors share most of their technical skills, and they tend to be younger and give current insight into the current photojournalism market. The films shown in class are also great.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely stay on top of your photo assignments. Build relationships with you TA's because it WILL help you do better grade-wise. Push yourself to grow as a photographer and don't be afraid to ask questions.
