    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was very engaging, and did his best to make the class interactive by using i clicker polling devices (which you have to pay for) but there was a lot of reading, writing responses are graded subjectively and sometimes harshly

    Course highlights:

We didn't really talk about art as a whole. This class focuses very heavily on the philosophy of film, and most readings were from not especially diverse authors. We discussed some basics of philosophical concepts as they apply to film, but that was most of it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take this class if you aren't prepared to show up to lecture and dedicate a pretty big chunk of time every week to reading 30+ page articles CAREFULLY

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Reading was a little difficult, the ta explains well but it's a lot of philosophy so it can take longer than the page count suggests.

    Course highlights:

Ta was fantastic. They give you the exam questions beforehand, so if you take the time to write out bullet points for each question you should pass.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you're okay with philosophy reading. Write out answers for the exam beforehand. Not too hard, but a little tedious.
