    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The lecture parts of the class were informative, but the labs were especially fun. The professors made it fun and engaging to discuss current events and the best way to go about journalistically reporting. You definitely get used to writing in a traditional news format, which is handy.

    Course highlights:

The labs after the lectures were the highlight. The discussions included ethics, current politics, incidents on campus, etc. All of us in the lab had to work together and hold conversations to make progress towards becoming better writers and journalists.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go out and finish your story assignments as soon as possible. They get thrown at you really fast and you have to be on top of things to get stuff done.
